I am incredibly impressed with this product! I feel so much safer.
For the very affordable price, this camera is unexpectedly amazing. I have never owned a security camera before. This seemed like a good, basic starter camera. It was easy to download the app and set the camera up. The app is intuitive, and I havenât run into any problems with it. The app itself seems very well designed. The camera quality is very clear. Night vision is very good as wellâlast night it even notified me at 3 am when a raccoon walked across my yard. It wasnât even super close to the camera! I included a picture of the camera view during the day and at night.I love that I get notified on my phone whenever it senses activity. There have been a few times where it sensed activity/recorded/notified me, but there wasnât actually anything going on in the video. However, this does not bother me, as I would rather the motion sensor be overly sensitive than not sensitive enough/miss things.I didnât know you could even speak into the camera from your phoneâhonestly so cool!! I am so impressed with everything about this camera. It truly makes me feel more safe/secure. Especially because it notifies my phone when Iâm out of the house if there is any activity in the camera. So far, this product is a 10/10 for me, I would highly recommend it. I am considering buying a second one for my back door. This camera was everything I wanted in a security camera, plus even more extra features that I wasnât expecting (like speaking into phone to play on the camera speakers). I have no regrets about this camera so far. Although Iâve only had it set up for 4 days, so I canât speak on the longevity of the product. But as of now, I am super happy with my purchase.Edit: About 2 months later, I felt the need to update my review with my current thoughts. I was really hoping that this camera would continue to work, and good newsâThis camera is still AMAZING. I actually still havenât had to charge it since I wrote my original review, which is sort of insane because itâs been constantly on ever since I purchased it. I am so impressed with the battery life. I literally donât have a single negative thing to say about this camera. It works so perfectly. I get notified on my phone the second something pops up on the camera. The app is great, and lets you go back and rewatch recorded events/download them to your phone. I havenât had any sort of glitches or problems with the app whatsoever. This has genuinely been one of the best purchases Iâve ever made on Amazon lol. The peace of mind it gives me is so wonderful. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great security camera. 10/10 purchaseEDIT #2: It’s been 7 months since I purchased this. It still works just like it did when I bought it! I’m really impressed by this, as so many products out there start to break down over time. But not this one! (at least so far lol). This has been a good investment. The battery life is still great, the app still works well, the picture quality is still great, and I still feel safer because of it! I like it so much that I came back and made a second edit to my review. Lol.

Great security cam setup powered by app
OK, I think the ‘A.I.’ is a little bit over sensitive. It has a bad habit of false alarms for parked vehicles as ‘arriving/leaving’, even on the low setting. The alarm should be louder, but the alarm + strobe effect is good for getting people to look face first at the cameraIt costs either $4.49/camera (if you have 1-2 cameras) or $9.99 for unlimited cameras to have the notifications/ai/cloud storage, etc, I don’t remember the ad mentioning it. For 4 cameras 24/7 monitoring and storage I pay 9.99. You can put in SD cards if you don’t want to pay the fee. That’s my only complaints. They’re easy to install, just need a Phillips head screwdriver. They only took a few minutes to connect each cam to the app. They have been rained on, still working fine, no clouding. They have a good field of vision. The chat is hilarious to mess with friends and family.I would recommend this system to anybody who wants a self monitored (no automatic 911 calls) alarm system.

Very nice camera that works extremely well
It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I also own the same model, in white, and adding this second camera was very easy to do in the Android App. Using both cameras is seamless in the app and I access them both all the time. Battery life is very good, as in months before recharging is needed. Picture is exceptionally clear even in night mode. I am 100% happy with my purchase and can highly recommend it.

Honest non compensated review
I ordered 2 of these cameras based off reviews. I put one on the house aimed at my driveway. And I put one out underneath my mailbox aimed at the street. House mounted camera is to capture people coming to driveway/front door area. Mailbox mounted is to capture vehicles/people passing by the front of the house on the street. We recently had porch pirates hit a house in our cul de sac, so wanted security. Without breaking the bank and had to be wireless to put a camera by the street.Used them frequently now over 1 monthâ¦.Set-up/Install: EASY for non techies. Even my dad could do it. And Engrish is his 2nd language. The videos make it easy or just follow the paper instructions included. Mounted firmly to my house(wood) and the mailbox(wood) using screws included.Pros:1. Video quality is great in both daylight and night. Câmon for a $40 camera. Didnât see a huge difference in HD vs. SD!2. The App interface is easy to use. iPhone user here. The more you play around with it, the more efficient youâll become to it and its quirks. It does a great job of alerting you when it has detected motion and recorded. About 2-3 seconds from when I stepped into the camera range to get an alert on my phone. Lots of features you can turn on and off.3. WIRELESS. Obviously not having wires is a huge plus for keeping it incognito. And not having to run wires 20 yards from my house to the mailbox.4. Batteries last a long time!! Obviously my street cam drained faster since it is more active. It was down to 30% after a month!! My house cam is still at 56% after a month. Way longer than I expected. It is slow to charge though. When I first got them. They were at 80%. Took 2 hours to get to 100%. 10% an hour.5. Wifi range is pretty good! My street cam is about 25 yards from the house. I have a wifi extender in the middle of the house. Signal strength is âGoodâ. My house cam obviously is only about 10 yards from the house. Signal strength is âstrongâ. Signal strength plays a huge part in the delay/lag for watching LIVE and connecting to the cameras. And downloading videos. Street cam has a 2-3 second delay when I do jumping jacks in front of it while watching on my phone. For the house cam it is less than a second delay. Imagine if you have a âweakâ signal, the video will be bad.6. Has a micro SD slot. I put 512mb cards in both cameras. So, essentially recorded videos are stored both on the cloud and to the card. Nice to have both options. Iâll talk about this more later.7. Free cloud storage. Iâll talk more about this later. NO SUBSCRIPTION REQUIRED! All video clips on the cloud can be downloaded to your phone with one click.8. You can watch live at anytime. And hit record or snap a photo. It saves only to your phone.9. You can press talk on the app and talk through the camera and hear the other party talk.10. You can control multiple cameras on one app.11. Thereâs an alarm button you press on the app to scare people. Itâs not super loud to annoy the neighbors, but enough to startle perpetrators.Cons:1. The 5-7 second delay when an object goes by the camera to when it starts recording. Iâll talk more about this later. Why that is!2. Only records 20 seconds of video at a time. Iâll talk more about this later.3. Once it is done recording the 20 second clip when it detects motion, thereâs a 1 minute âcool downâ period before itâll record again.4. Audio recording is not the best. It can be distorted at times.5. The motion detection range is only about 15 feet from the camera. Not bad, thought it would be larger.6. With all cameras at night, license plates are blurred out(white out) because of the reflective material they are made of. There is no fix for this. Iâve looked on YouTube and online. This cameras only records one of two ways. When you have Motion Detection On. It will record the clip to the cloud service and to the SD card(if inserted). Or when in live mode, if you hit record, it ONLY records to your phone. No option to record to the cloud or SD card. All right. If you want the CONS I listed above(except 4)to be proâs. You will want the upgrade and pay for the subscription. $47.49 a year for one camera. $105.99 a year for 2+ cameras. Or go month to month. $4.49 a month for 1 camera. $9.99 a month for 2+ cameras. There is a 30 day free trial. Which I used to test the differences between using the camera to its full potential with the subscription. Versus basic, no subscription. In a nutshell, it works without the subscription. But, you are very limited on the features. The 5-7 second delay once it detects motion to actual recording is HUGE. I tested that delay. I ran from the street to my door, simulating a porch pirate. About 15-20 yards. With the delay, I was already running back to the street by the time it started recording. You obviously will increase the chance of missing seeing the face. Buying the subscription, there is ZERO delay. It records immediately once motion is detected. Without the subscription, it only records 20 seconds of video. Remember, after it is done recording that 20 sec clip, there is a 1 minute cooldown. Before it will record again. You will lose valuable footage of any event occurring. With the subscription, you get 3 full minutes of footage. The 1 minute cooldown still occurs. Without a subscription, the free cloud storage of your videos are held for only 3 days. With the subscription 60 days. Using the micro SD card. Here are a few tips. Only use a name brand SD card. The app does let you know how much memory is being used. Viewing clips stored on the SD card via the app is a bit quirky versus viewing the same stored clip on the cloud. Itâs a little cumbersome. Once the SD card is out of memory. It will delete the oldest clip and record the new clip automatically. I like that it doesnât stop and require you to manually delete old clips to make room. You canât choose and delete individual clips stored on the SD card. Itâs delete all or none. Clips stored on the cloud however, you can select and choose what clips to delete. Clips on the SD canât be downloaded to your phone with a click(like clips on the cloud) You have to view the clip you want and manually click ârecordâ while viewing the entire clip. It is very cumbersome. The best way to put it is, the camera is a tease without the subscription. Will it work fine without the subscription?! It may if you are using it to view your pet or as a nanny camera in live mode!! If you are using it for home security and hoping if something happens itâll record the whole processâ¦..You will be disappointed without buying the subscription. Itâs most likely going to miss things occurring with the delay periods and short recording times.

At this price point, works just fine. Only problem is that is the WIFI requires 2.4 GHz instead of the 5 GHz. Not sure why it’s like this. The camera cant transmit on the 5 GHz.
