Great Hoodie; Great Price
We are having lots of gray mornings lately, so I treated myself to the Spanish Moss hoodie–it is a medium teal color, wonderfully soft, and it cheers me up every time I see it! These Hanes shirts are very good quality, not too thick, don’t shed color fuzz, and stay true to size. I agree with other reviewers that the wristbands are a bit tight (and I am .a medium-boned woman in a men’s size). I certainly did not “need” another hoodie –but I love this color and am glad to have it.

Still holding up!
I purchased this for my fiancée to wear around the house on mornings/evenings when it’s cold. This is light enough to wear around indoors, but warm enough to wear outside if you’re going to the store or walking the dog. The fit is true too size, but if you like alot of room in your sleeve cuffs at the wrist, then I would suggest one size up. The cuff was a little tight when he first got this and he has been stretching the fabric to loosen up the wrist area, and it has just a bit, but this is how I know that this jacket is well made because it won’t stretch out and look overworn. There has been no problems with the zipper, it always zips up and down flawlessly and never gets caught on the teeth, and hasn’t messed up even though it’s been through the washing machine and dryer countless times. We got this jacket in the color black and its ready to go right out of the box (I like to wash my clothing first before wearing it but my fiancée is impatient and wanted to wear it right then and now when trying it on to see if the size fit well) and it doesn’t leave any dye marks on sheets, furniture, or fabric that I have seen before happen with other brands. This also has not bled onto other colors in the wash, and hasn’t shrunk up from being in the dryer instead of air drying. Also, even though it has the thin fleece like material on the inside, it doesn’t need to be lint rolled, and doesn’t leave a bunch of little black lint on the shirt your wearing under it. I purchased this in February 2023 and at the time of this review it is February 2024 and this item is still holding up strong, and still looks new 🙂

Not very heavy, but good fit and I like it
I was hoping this sweatshirt would be a little bit heavier in weight, but I’d say it’s middle weight, and it will work for most of my needs. I found the sizing a little tricky also – I’m a woman and usually I need at least an XL in a men’s size for t-shirts and sweatshirts and sometimes 2XL. I like the fit to be comfortable and would prefer it to be a little on the larger side than on the smaller/tighter side. I initially ordered this sweatshirt in both 2X and XL, and ended up returning the 2Xl as it was way too big. The XL fit pretty well, a little large and little long for me, but comfortable. I then ordered one in Large just to see how much difference there would be between the XL and L sizes. There is definitely a difference, but I also like the fit of the size L, so I’m keeping it, too. I will probably wear the Large one for morning walks when it’s chilly out (because it’s a little more snug), and the XL for general wear, like going shopping or such. I have only washed the sweatshirts once so far, but they seem to retain pretty much the initial sizing.

Comfy, tiny pockets
This is a fine hoodie for the price and the royal blue color is nice. Other reviews mention the very small pockets and they are not kidding. They look like they belong on a child’s hoodie. It fits well and the zipper is good. Not a bad purchase.

Wow! Nice vivid color.
It’s a lightweighted hoodie with pockets and a zipperd front. Everyone is different. You may have a preference of having a medium weight, or a heavyweight or even a (lightweighted one like this one); I’ve would have preferred a medium weight. “Only” because that’s what I’m used to. Other than that,it doesn’t bother me. It’ll also be good for wearing on warmer days. As far as the color, it’s exactly what I was looking for. A nice bold vivid “Red” color that doesn’t look faded. Anyway, it really fits perfect. I have a size 50 chest. 6′ tall, 210 lbs. And if it shrinks, because of the dryer, it’s no big deal, it’ll still still fit beautifully. A little trick that I’ll share with you that was taught to me many years ago, is: if for whatever reason any of your garments shrink due to the dryer or whatever?, you can still bring it back to its original size by you rewashing it in cold water ð¦ ð¦ ð and useing Downy fabric softener. Do Not! use a generic brand. What this does is that it softens and relaxes, and extends the fibers allowing it to return to its original size. But the trick is to air dry it. Because if you put it back in the dryer, you’ll be back to square one. Don’t tell anyone. Let it be your little secret. Anyway, I’m sure you’ll like it regardless of color.

This sweater is nice and soft. It’s not very thick but that doesn’t make it bad its just not for the coldest of weather.I bought an XL and it is actually an XL, the sleeves are long enough and the sweater is long enough. I could have probably bought a Large but I was worried it would be too short or have short sleeves because so many other brands (like Amazon) offer XL sizes but are still way too small/short. This sweater is true to size and you will get what you pay for. Worth it.
