Perfect budget phone for those who loves portability.
6.1 inch screen of the Pixel 7a feels perfect for me since I like more portable phones. It has balance between portability and spaciousness. The screen is big enough to read news and articles comfortably, make video calls and scroll through social media.Battery life of the phone is adequate for me. On a full charge, the Pixel 7A was able to get me through a full day.It has 64 megapixel main camera which takes sharp and colorful photos. There’s also a 13 megapixel ultrawide camera for capturing shots from a broader field of view.

Perhaps the best “A” Pixel ever offered…
As a phone, it works well – YMMV depending on your carrier. The same applies to data speeds and reliability. My experience with TMo isn’t perfect, but it’s okay most of the time. The 5G tech in the 7a works great. The camera, both for stills and video is quite good, especially in decent light. Lower light scenes require some extra considerations, but you can get decent photos even then. Low-light video is just okay. Video sound is quite good most of the time.

Good Phone but…
Replaces a Huawei P30 lite with very similar specs. The Pixel outperforms the Huawei in terms of real-world processing speed, outside camera, and it comes with the the latest Android O.S. The most enjoyable feature is the AI photo features such as Unblur and ability to remove items from a photo.Pros: Fast Performance.Decent storage, advanced photo editing features, high spec outside facing camera.Cons: heavy when compared to other phones.Does not come with a charger. (Huawei phone did that’s why I can complain). No expandable storage (micro SD) option, but built-in 128gb should suffice for most.Does not have an alarm feature from shut off. (Huawei and other asian branded phones have this. Eliminates the need for an alarm clock as you can shut the off the phone before bed and it will turn on and wake you at the alarm time in the morning.)Fingerprint reader is a bit inaccurate at times.Selfie camera is Ok quality.Bulky optional charger with ok battery life.Overall, it’s a good phone if you can get it at the sale price of less than 400$. The Camera quality and photo editing software make it an attractive phone that you’ll have fun playing with. Even with older photos. But the weight and bulk are noticable, and has a long way to go in comparison to it’s competitors at similar MSRP price points. If you need something now, then it’s a definite buy. If you can wait, I’d look for something better as the price drops around the holiday seasons.

Outstanding for the price
Can’t beat what you get for the price! The only thing that almost made me give it four stars is that the battery life is so-so. But the great price made up for it. Also, I like the phones a bit on the small side for greater portability. It is small but mighty, and the camera good. Very happy with it.

Happy to be moving back to the Pixel line
I had moved away from Pixel phones after my Pixel 2 XL due to the price. After bouncing around from OnePlus to Motorola I’m back in the fold and VERY happy with the 7a.The things I was looking for were qi charging (hard to find in midrange phones), NFC payments, good battery life, and long software support. This checked all the boxes. Some of the pleasant surprises were the size (not too big), the clarity of the screen, and the camera. The camera in particular is EXCELLENT.The fingerprint reader is a bit inconsistent, but I’ve found that if I wet my finger and wipe it off the reader works every time. I’ve got pretty dry fingertips, so that could explain the issues I have with it. I don’t have to store a ton on the phone, so 128gb of space is plenty for me to use the apps that I want and download music and movies for when I’m traveling. You’re not going to find a better phone for the price. I got mine on sale for $399, which these days is the most I will pay for a phone.

Have it fully functioning, fairly easy to use.Great for people who don’t need a giant phone.Far less expensive than the newer models if you look for a good deal.

Very happy with this phone and learning how to use as it does a lot of stuff. Takes good pictures plus very easy to set up and use. I will see how it holds up but I’m impressed with it so far but time will tell. Has a lot of features that phones twice this price does not have so it is a bargain especially if you get it on sale. Seems to exude quality when you are holding and I put on a screen protector and case ordered from Amazon at time of purchase to protect it before it gets scratched or damaged

No compren!

Just to be clear, this is what you will receive (see attached picture). For me it seems to work fine (UK, Giffgaff operator), luckilyAnd another one: since this is a Japanese phone, you CANNOT disable the camera sound, a “detail” you may find pretty annoying (I’m okay with that albeit I find it pretty silly).
