EXCELLENT inexpensive watch.
This is one great watch. Because of its low price, I thought it might be cheap or silly looking, but I figured at this price, I’d try it. It’s neither. I own a couple of dozen watches, including some close to high-end watches. This is now one of my favorite watches.It’s comfortable to wear due to its light weight and velcro strap. With other watchbands you have only limited adjustments. I always find one hole too tight and the next one too loose. With this watch band, it’s infinitely adjustable so it fits perfectly.And, unlike a lot of my watches, it’s not only not heavy, it’s positively lightweight. I barely even know its there. Compare that with some enormous watches that feel like tuna fish cans strapped to my wrist. I often wear watches that are 40mm wide or more, but this is one step smaller than that, and I’d forgotten how much more pleasant it is to wear a medium-sized watch.The dial is completely legible even at a moderate angle (not an extreme angle, though, since it’s digital). It shows the time, the day of the week, and the date. Plus the seconds. Adjustment requires using the little booklet that came with it, but I think I almost have it memorized by now. It’s similar to a Casio but a little more streamlined and just a little less “tech-y” looking. It looks rugged and purposeful, not silly at all. Some of my Casios make me look like a computer science major, and I definitely don’t want that.It also has a light if you need it — and maybe some other things I haven’t discovered yet.And the price! Holy smokes! Where can you get a great watch that works well and is this lightweight and comfortable for this low a price? Not often. If you need a good, solid, reliable, comfortable, and good-looking watch, here it is.

Easy to follow directions
Most digital watches have instructions that require a microscope to read and a Chinese/English dictionary to understand. This one has easy to read and follow directions. An attractive and sturdy feeling watch. I have a narrow wrist and it isnât too wide. I just want it for the time and date and have it easy to see in the dark. This passes in those features. And for a very reasonable price. If it stops working after a yearâ¦who cares?

Durable and easy to read.
I’d been buying digital watches from a certain major brand for years, but the straps that kept breaking were driving me crazy. I decided to switch to a new brand and new strap material. The Armitron is very easy to read and program, and the velcro strap seems much more durable than the typical resin strap. My only complaint is the slightly bulky size of the actual watch. I’m used something thinner, but it’s not unwearable by any means.

Terrific inexpensive watch
Way better than I expected for a sub-15 buck watch. Clear, easy to read face, simple controls for time, stopwatch and alarm. Excellent elimination and 300ft water resistance. Only gripes are alarm sound is very faint. Can hardly hear it and no way to increase the volume. That and itâs a little bulky on the wrist. Ok if you like that style, but wish it were less thick. Overall, an excellent beater watch for the money. Definitely recommend.

Great watch and brand!
Iâve always gotten this brand of watches throughout the years as they tend to last a long time. Setting the time and things can be a little overwhelming but YouTube has some great videos on how to get it going which are easier to follow than the directions included so I recommend looking on there for help if you need it. Itâs also very easy to set once you know what to do.

Very Easy To Read And Comfortable
I love the Casio watches, but they are often difficult to read, with tinted plastic ‘crystals’.This Armatron is every bit as comfortable and intuitive to set and operate, but the display is very readable for my 66 year old vision.

Decent watch but the strap is a problem
This is a decent watch with a good display and normal functions that are easy to set. The buttons are good size and the overall size is good. BUT, the strap is too short to make it convenient to fit my wrist. I’m not a big guy with abnormally large wrists and arms but the strap length pretty much only allows a fit to one place on my wrist which is further up my arm then I like. This is dumb as a small amount of extra strap web length would be easily handled by the velcro fitting. The strap also has a long tip of unflexible rubber facing sewed to the end of the webbing that does not allow it to be useful for optional length adjustment. This watch would not fit someone with larger than “normal” wrist sizing.

I’m 5’5 with thin wrists and this fits well on me. Doesn’t feel cheap, doesn’t look cheap. Doesn’t look bulky and doesn’t look small.The display is large and clear and the backlight is modern looking.There is no countdown timer but there is a stop watch, 2 time-zones, and an option for military/normal time display. This is a watch for telling time and basic workouts such as weight training, running, swimming laps etc.The verdict: Good looking, simple, basic digital watch that feels no different than a Timex or any other name-brand watch with a Velcro strap in the same class, and it’s half the price.
